We Believe
We believe that the 66 Books of the Bible are verbally inspired and inerrant in the original writings, and they are the supreme
and final authority in faithand life.
(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Jeremiah 1:9; Psalm 119:89)
We believe in One God (co-existent and co-eternal) in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 43:10-11; 45:5-6; Matthew 3:16, 17, 28:19, 20; II Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
(Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:18)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary
sacrifice, and that all who “believe” and “receive” Him as Savior are justified on the ground of His shed blood and
resurrection. Apart from Christ’s atonement there is no way to enter into God’s presence.
(Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8; John 1:12, 3:16, 14:6; I Corinthians 15; Ephesians 2:8, 9)
We believe that all who receive Christ as Savior are “born again” of the Holy Spirit and thereby Children of God. They are
baptized by the Spirit into the Body of Christ, and are eternally “sealed” by the Holy Spirit.
(John 10:28, 29; Romans 8:35, 39; I Corinthians 1:4-8, 12, 13; I Peter 1:5)
We believe in that “blessed hope”, the personal and bodily return of Christ for His “Bride” the Church.
(Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16, 17; II Thessalonians 2:1-12)
We believe the ordinances of the Church to be Baptism by immersion to those who accept Christ as their Savior, and the Lord’s
Supper where the “bread” and the “cup” are symbols of Christ’s death.
(Matthew 26:26-28; I Corinthians 11:24)
If God said it, that settles it, therefore I believe it.
The Bible is the written word of God. Our doctrines are based on His word. These
comments offer a simple description on some doctrinal fundamentals of our faith.
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing the word of truth."
II Timothy 2:15
